When Thomas Cingari Sr. toured the ShopRite in Bristol, he knew he wanted to enlarge the sales floor, expand the prepared foods section and improve the produce display. But the team of cashiers, department managers and other staffers would pretty well stay unchanged, according to Cingari, a third-generation supermarket industry veteran whose family owns nine other ShopRites in Connecticut. 'I kind of fell in love with this store when I met the people. The business is OK, but the team is fantastic,' said Cingari, whose family added the Bristol store to its portfolio this winter.
